We were delighted to have Simon and Jennifer Bullock at our Parish Breakfast this year to share something of their faith journey and how it has brought them to Social Farming.
Those who attended were amazed by all that they have accomplished at their farm at Aghalane and to hear the impact that it is making on the lives of those with learning challenges. Part of their plans for the future of their Social Farm is to construct a Fruit Maze. They plan to plant blackcurrant, redcurrant, white currant and gooseberry bushes as part of a maze.
As well as having the network of paths and fruit bushes, they have teamed up with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) who are planning to assist with creating art pieces for the Fruit Maze that will depict the Fruit of the Spirit—with love being at the centre of the maze.
If you have black/red/white currant or gooseberry bushes that need to be pruned, Simon and Jennifer would be delighted to get your cuttings for their Fruit Maze.
